BIC BERRILAN is the European Centre of Gipuzkoa for Businesses and Innovation, whose mission is:
“Supporting the setting-up of New Companies, Business Diversification and impetus to the incorporation of Innovation in existing companies, in order to boost the creation of jobs by means of entrepreneurs training, the gathering of ideas and authorized assistance, offering at the same time technical support and infrastructures”.

BIC BERRILAN main strategic lines are:

• Promoting the entrepreneurial culture: generate entrepreneurial culture so as to have human resources motivated for the setting-up of businesses.
• Boosting the appearance of entrepreneurial ideas: promote the creation of ideas and the search for needs that give rise to new business initiatives.
• Support the setting-up of companies: transform ideas into business activities, after verifying their feasibility.

BIC offers a “tailored” system with the integrated services that follows:

• Training services, because it aims to rely on the best enterprise techniques, sensitizing and specific management courses, etc.
• Guidance services, on the feasibility of projects and the responses they generate for local and regional development. Projects management. Tutoring.
• Back-up services, to support projects from their inception to their full effectiveness. Business incubator.

Furthermore, BIC GIPUZKOA BERRILAN performs the function of “interface” between the needs of SMEs and the offer of globalized services.
